A fundamental human right is gender equality. It is a cornerstone in the foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world.

The work is not finshed
Societal hurdles have perpetuated inaction in advancing gender equality in both law and in culture. Women continue to earn less, experience various forms of discrimination, and are targets of violence in their homes and in public.
A time for action
The year 2020 represents an important opportunity to mobilize global action to achieve gender equality and human rights of all women and girls.
